Thanks to modern local authors such as Peter Grant (100 Years on the Cliff), Bill Harding (Pennard), Margaret Walker (The Penrice and The Lyons Family), and other ‘older’ authors and works, much has already been written on Pennard and its history, as well as about the families who, until the early 1920s, both owned and held sway over properties, people and land within the Kilvrough Estate.
