 Pennard Carnival 2009
Once again when you look through the Photo Gallery, please think about, and be very grateful to, the background 'boys' and 'girls' who worked for months to make 2009's Carnival yet another fantastic event. Building on the successes of previous years, the team did a wonderful job, and are to be congratulated for making this year's Carnival day such a resounding success. Thanks are also due to the Police for controlling the traffic so admirably!

2009 PENNARD CARNIVAL PARADE (Saturday 18 July)
Were you there? Did you see all the lovely floats and the fantastic participants, and weren't they all so colourfully dressed and enjoying themselves. Thank goodness that apart from one short shower around lunchtime, the rest of the day was sunny, and that there were lots of villagers, holidaymakers and more to cheer everyone along the route. 2009 PENNARD CARNIVAL FIELD (Saturday 18 July)
Well, yet again the Carnival field was absolutely full, and everyone was having a fantastic time. The sun shone, kids were running around, dogs were behaving, ice-creams were everywhere, the bouncy castle and donkeys had long queues waiting, everyone cheered at the right moment for the Floats, the staged battles, the birds of prey, and the dogs.
